Caravaggio was a realistic. This painting shows his ability to paint everything from skin to fabric to fruit. The fruit basket is also an exceptional example of his realist work from the perfect fruit to the fungus and bugs on the leaves.

It's been a while since i have felt like doing anything creative. I am acutely aware of how important photographs can be, future heirlooms.

So I persuaded my reluctant 6yr old son to sit with a bowl of fruit and watch Disney+ over my shoulder while i photographed him.

Recreating the classics is not a bad way to spend my ISO time.
