A Timeless Scottish Wedding at Backhouse Rossie Estate

For Griffen & Richard, Backhouse Rossie Estate in the heart of Fife was the perfect backdrop for their love story. The estate’s historic walled garden, adorned with rare and beautiful plants, offers a tranquil setting with sweeping lawns and created the perfect backdrop for their vows.

The morning began at Lochieheads Country Estate, an 18th-century Georgian manor house just a stone's throw from the venue. In these stunning surroundings, Griffen as her bridal party prepared for the day ahead, sharing a lot of laughter and quiet moments before the party began.

Griffen was breathtaking in a gown by Essense of Australia, with intricate detailing and a flowing silhouette, Griffen's embroidered veil was an absolute showstopper, it was the perfect choice for a wedding set against this stunning landscape.

From stolen glances to joyous celebrations, every moment was captured in a documentary style with an editorial twist—preserving the true atmosphere of the day. Based in Ayrshire, I love telling love stories across Scotland, and Griffen and Richard’s wedding was a beautiful reminder of why I do what I do.

If you’re planning your own Scottish wedding, let’s create something unforgettable together.
